Eastern Riviera : 

The three Corniches of the Riviera (Coastal Scenic Roads) offer a variety of breathtaking panoramas of the Riviera from three different heights (From down to the sea level to high up in the  mountain) … Looking different everyday according to the colors and which way you drive on it... 
You can see them a million times and still feel like this is the very first !

Eze is a charming one-of-a-kind medieval perched village, like an eagle’s nest it clings to its rocky peak towering 1400 feet above the sea. Although the Chateau is long gone, the stunning site and the exceptional views attract visitors from all around the world.

Monaco & Monte Carlo, this sovereign state overlooking the Mediterranean sea perfectly captures the essence of the Côte d’Azur with its rococo palaces, lush gardens, the Gran Casino and the glamorous Princely Family, luxury hotels, exclusive boutiques, and the unforgettable Formula 1 Grand Prix motor race held each year since 1929… Its unique location and fascinating History definitely makes it a classic!

Menton, situated a mile from the Italian border, has the reputation to have the warmest climate of the French Riviera. The city is framed by steep mountain cliffs and terraced slopes planted with tropical gardens, citrus and olive trees. The covered market, the ancient roman road Via Julia Augusta crossing the town, the Baroque ambience of the old town, the Jean Cocteau museum and the Promenade stretching towards Cap Martin.

Villefranche-sur-Mer is a slightly secluded fishermen's village that perfeclty pictures the french southern spirit... Villefranche's bay benefits from an unquestionable charm with its warm colors, the little wooden fishing boats and the sunny restaurants terraces … Where you suddenly feel the urge to relax and enjoy the moment !

Nice is the capital city of the Côte d’Azur… The renowned Promenade des Anglais and its outstanding luminosity enhances this spectacular setting and makes the sea look different every single day… 
There is also the authentic charm of the old town with the flower market, the colorful Italian style buildings and the local Nicoise cuisine… Nizza la Bella as we call it… The beautiful Nice!

Western Riviera :

Saint Paul-de-Vence : medieval lined up houses surrounded with 16th century ramparts, great Art galleries along the Rue Grande, the elderly playing bocci, the tiny market by the washing place, Saint Paul has a soul… Experience it!  

Antibes half way between Nice and Cannes is an adorable beach town! Almost every day you can find local products and other goods at a wonderful open-air-market in the Old town. Behind the 12th-century Chateau Grimaldi are the medieval ramparts of the city offering an amazing view: the water, rocks and sky blend in a stream of unique landcapes. Antibes is home to the largest pleasure-boat port of the Riviera (mainly used by luxury cruise yachts).

Cap D’Antibes, for over a century now, the stunning natural scenery of this exclusive peninsula and the iconic Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc sheltered artists, writers and then Europe's elite and aristocracy...  Nowadays it naturally became the confidential sanctuary for movie stars, especially during the Cannes Film Festival.

Cannes … is a Festival !   A resort for the rich and famous especially during the crazy Cannes Film Festival. “The” place to be if you want to see or to be seen… Events, congresses... Cannes is always busy ! Discover the famous Croisette Boulevard lined up with its palm trees and world renowned hotels and  the rue d ‘Antibes :  a street of urban elegance with some of the world’s most sought-after Haute couture designers, jewelry, leatherwork, interior design...

You are on the French Riviera and your next stop is Provence or you ending a river cruise in Avignon and want to enjoy some sites on the way back to Nice…

Aix en Provence… is a wealthy town, Cours Mirabeau is the trendy place to be, famous for provencal scenes, bustling  markets (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday), lovely square, pedestrian shopping lanes and fountains. Many 18c mansions give the town its classy appearance. One of the most beautiful city of France !

Cassis… Magnificent Show of nature ! Between Marseille and Cassis the coast is broken up by calanques – enticing fjord-like inlets lying between vertical white cliffs formed 120 million years ago! Experience the spectacular views from the Route des Cretes, Cap Canaille…twisty road providing access to high views (1200 feet) overlooking Cassis and the turquoise water of the Mediterranean.

Marseille “has a bad reputation…Mme de Sevigné  wrote it already in 1673 ! The “Marseillais” people know about it but the city is a myth  with all its Mediterranean “cliché”…noisy, lazy... Why Marseille wouldn’t be just different !

Sanary sur Mer  Charming seaside resort, sheltered from the mistral wind …Lovely boats called “pointus” anchored in the port, white and pink facades give the endearing character of a theatre scene.

Le Castellet  on a outcrop overhanging terrace of vineyards with olive trees…the fortified village has been beautifully restaured.

The Luberon

The Luberon distills a special atmosphere, outstanding light, spectacular countryside of vineyards and sherry orchards, shady squares with gurgling fountains, charming “perched” hill-top village Roussillon, Gordes, Menerbes, Lacoste, Lourmarin and the lavender fields (mid june-early august) if you are lucky to be there for the bloom!

Do I have to re-confirm my tour ?

Feel free to do so… It can’t do any harm !
Even though if you received your tour confirmation and you did confirm back everything is set up and booked…

Where should I meet my driver/guide?

The meeting point is outside the cruise terminal or in front of your hotel. Your driver/guide will have a sign with you name on it.

What happens if the boat does not dock for bad weather conditions?

In case of change of port of call we will do our best to pick you up where you are docked if we are informed soon enough, as long as it stays within the limits of the French Riviera (not available for Provence area). In that case the suggested itinerary might be modified. You will not be charged if the ship does not dock.

What do I need to go inside the Casino of Monte Carlo ?

Minimum age required is 18 ! ID or passport is requested. No specific dress code during day time except for flip flops that are forbidden. Only open to visit in the morning. Gambling starts at 8pm.
